Facebook and Facebook Connect

We’ve recently incorporated Facebook Connect into our commenting system. Now you can post comments using your Facebook identity or create a generic one at the bottom of each article. When connecting to your Facebook account, our site does one of two things:
1) If you’ve already logged into Facebook once before visiting us, chances are you’re still logged in. In this case, GenerationHI.com will ask Facebook to supply us with just your name and User ID number.
2) If you haven’t logged in at Facebook or have opted to log out, GenerationHI.com will transfer you to Facebook to log in using your Facebook information at Facebook.com, and then send you back to GenerationHI.com to make your comment.

Either way, GenerationHI.com never sees your login email, or password for Facebook at any point. We can only accept information about your Name and the address to your Facebook profile.
